As a Counselor I am kind, experienced, resourceful, and challenging. Some of my favorite phrases are “try it on for an experiment” and “willing suspension of disbelief”.

I believe in working in the here and now and only going in your history to understand difficulties you are having now. I can do short or long term counseling. My original training was in Gestalt and much has been added since then as our knowledge of psychology, counseling, and neuropsychology has grown. On your path I will be able to point out some more efficient and fun ways to get to where you want to go. I have accompanied many people on their journeys and have learned much from them.

I see individuals and couples, heterosexual, lesbian and gay. I have a great deal of experience working with the chronically ill, the elderly and their families, depression, anxiety, and addictions. I also support clients as they explore issues of spirituality. I believe in and practice Successful Aging. I have a sliding fee from $40 to $70 an hour. You decide what you think is fair to pay.

We live in a changing world with global catastrophes, resource depletion, and economic crises effecting our minds and spirits. I offer groups on how these changes can effect us and include that awareness in my individual counseling.

As a Consultant I will go to private homes to do assessments of the needs of your loved one, with their permission, and give you recommendations. I will also do consultations with agencies. All Consultation is done at the $70 rate plus travel time.
